Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Participated in the Sustainable Food Summit
The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, participated in the Sustainable Food Summit, held on December 17, 2025, at Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul. The event was attended by Dr. Zehra Yardı, Head of the Department, Dr. Elif Merve Kahraman, and master’s students from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts program.
Within the scope of the summit, presentations and sessions on sustainable food systems, environmental responsibility, ethical production, and sustainable practices in the gastronomy sector were followed. The event contributed to students’ ability to closely observe current approaches in their field and to relate their academic knowledge to sectoral practices.
