On December 11, 2025, the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, hosted a distinguished guest chef. Zafer Aydemir, Executive Sous Chef of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, participated as a guest in the Kitchen Practices course conducted by Sandra Öz, Master Instructor of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.

The class was held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the O Block 11207 Demonstration Kitchen. During the session, students were introduced to professional kitchen disciplines, high-level kitchen organization, and practice-based cooking techniques. The event contributed to applied culinary education by enabling students to benefit from the direct transfer of professional experience from a leading industry expert.
