Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Bilgin, a faculty member of the History Department, delivered a speech titled “An Overview of Historical and Social Perspectives in Dr. Kemal Küçükali’s Stories” at the panel titled “A Voice and A Heritage from Sürmene: Dr. Kemal Küçükali,” where he also served as a member of the organizing committee.

In the conference titled “The 5th Anniversary of the Karabakh Victory” organized in cooperation with the Department of History and ORKAM on November 12, 2025, Prof. Dr. Halil BAL, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan VALİYEV, and Asst. Prof. Murat JANE delivered their speeches.

A memorial ceremony was held in honor of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey, who passed away on November 10, 1938, at 09:05.

Asst. Prof. Dilek Seniha Cenez Ülker, one of the faculty members of the Department of History, participated as a speaker in the conference titled “A Turning Point in Ottoman History: The Ottoman Army at the Gates of Vienna,” organized by Bagcilar Municipality on October 20, 2025.

Assoc. Prof. Elvin YILDIRIM, Head of the History Department, participated in the talk titled “Traces of Turkish History” organized by Zeytinburnu Municipality on October 13, 2025.

The online conference titled “Military Coups and Democracy: July 15,” organized in cooperation with IAU ATAM and IAU TAM, was held on July 14, 2025. Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Hakan ÖZÇELİK, a faculty member of the Department of History, participated as a speaker in the conference.
