The Head of the Turkish Language and Literature Program, Prof. Dr. Kâzım Yetiş, participated as a speaker in the conference titled “Nihad Sâmi Banarlı on the 50th Anniversary of His Passing,” organized by the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters on October 22, 2024.

Prof. Dr. Metin Akar, faculty member of Turkish Language and Literature Program, delivered a lecture titled “The Gallipoli Martyrs’ Memorial in Gazimağusa, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” on March 26, 2024, at an event organized by the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

On March 12, 2024, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with IAU ATAM, organized the “Panel on the Anniversary of the Adoption of the National Anthem,” with Prof. Dr. Kâzım Yetiş and Prof. Dr. Necat Birinci participating as speakers.
