Our Graduate Özge Nur YILMAZ Ranked Among the Top Three in the 35Under3Chefs Competition

The 35Under3Chefs Competition, organized under the main sponsorship of Metro Türkiye and implemented by the gastronomic marketing agency Dude Table, resulted in a significant achievement for our department. Özge Nur YILMAZ, a graduate of our department this year and currently pursuing her master’s degree, ranked among the top three contestants. Among the candidates who applied with recipes prepared in line with zero-waste kitchen principles, the top ten finalists were selected to prepare and present their dishes based on their submitted recipes. These dishes were evaluated on December 7, 2023, by a jury composed of leading professionals from the gastronomy industry. Following the evaluation, three chefs—including our graduate Özge Nur YILMAZ—were selected as Sustainability Ambassadors of Turkish Cuisine and were awarded the opportunity to receive international training on zero-waste culinary techniques.
