The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Met with External Stakeholders within the Scope of Academia–Industry Collaboration

The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, held an External Stakeholders Meeting on December 24, 2025, with the aim of strengthening academia–industry collaboration. The meeting was completed in a productive environment with the participation of experienced industry representatives. Within the scope of the meeting, discussions were held with Emin Aydemir (President of the Turkish Pastry Chefs Association) representing Azim Un, Süleyman Tarakçı, founder of Nalia Black Sea Cuisine, and Talip Bayram, gastronomy writer and journalist. Key topics included education–industry integration, the quality of applied courses, the development of student competencies, and sustainable collaborations in the field of gastronomy. The knowledge and sectoral experience shared by the stakeholders provided valuable contributions to the development of educational programs. The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts extends its sincere thanks to all stakeholders who participated in the meeting for their valuable insights and contributions.
