Significant Industry Achievements by Alumni of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts

Graduates of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts continue to make the university proud with their remarkable achievements in the gastronomy sector. Our alumni İbrahim Çağlar Doygun, Batuhan Şimşir, and Berkay Dönmez, together with the kitchen team of GOU Society, achieved a significant success by receiving one toque in the Modern Cuisine / Gourmand Table category in the Gault & Millau 2025 evaluations. Another source of pride came from our alumni Koray Yıldırım and Sena Hacıcaferoğlu. The Levant Tahinier, where our graduates are part of the team, was awarded one toque in the Gourmet Tables – Patisserie category within the scope of Gault & Millau Türkiye 2026. We congratulate our alumni and all the teams involved for these achievements that make us proud.
