“Knife Use and Maintenance in Professional Kitchens” Workshop Held

The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, organized the “Knife Use and Maintenance in Professional Kitchens” Workshop on October 30, 2025. Held at the D Block Blue Hall, the event was conducted in collaboration with PİRGE, during which comprehensive information was shared on knife selection, proper cutting techniques, and maintenance practices in professional kitchens.

The workshop contributed to the development of students’ safe and efficient kitchen skills and provided valuable industry-oriented experience. At the end of the event, various gifts were presented to the participants.
