Prof.Dr. Tuğba Gülal, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema (English), visitedleading U.S. universities, including Yale University and the University of Massachusetts Boston,between August 21 and September 6, 2026.The visits provided an opportunity to experience diverse academic environments and gain insightsinto international approaches to education, communication, and media studies.

Prof. Dr. Aybike Serttaş, Director of the Graduate School of Education, and our faculty members Dr.Sema Bulat Demir, Research Assistant Dr. Gizem Uyanık Uğur, and Research Assistant OğuzhanAltunkurt have published their article entitled “The Illusion of Control: Privacy Discourse andAlgorithmic Governance in Digital Health” in Digital Health, an SSCI Q1-indexed journal.
